Project Description: 

The Clogheravaddy Substation was built to facilitate connection of 22 MW of wind generation, connected to Binbane 110 kV substation in Donegal. The project also encompassed the cabling, switchgear and control systems associated with the wind farm connection. Included as part of the project was a 5km 38kV underground cable connection to Binbane 110kV substation.

 

Project Scope: 

Powercomm’s project scope involved design, procurement, installation and commissioning of the following systems:
