Our Values

Quality at Powercomm means a “one touch” completion strategy. Therefore, we “finish as we go”, there will be no rework because of poor engineering, no rework due to unskilled labour, no rework due to cheap materials. Simply put the value of Quality is everything.

It’s important that all the Powercomm team are proud of their work and that of their colleagues.

Integrity in the workplace is very important to our clients and to us. The way our company conducts its business and how our employees represent the company is imperative to everything we stand for. A smile goes a long way to helping to communicate.

We see reliability as a value of our company and the people we employ. We have developed our own in-house project and construction management system to ensure we execute projects on time, in budget and to the highest standards.

Our in-house planning and procurement systems ensure reliability when it comes to cost and time schedule.

Our idea of safety is that its everyone’s responsibility, we invest every day in safety this has resulted in a dynamic live approach to safety which currently features development work practices and procedures; safety inspections and developing focused themed safety campaigns. We have a “no blame” safety culture and encourage learning from errors. We are constantly striving for “Zero Incidents”. This means ensuring our entire workforce has safety in their minds at all times.

Safety & Quality

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Morbi tristique vehicula ullamcorper. Nunc nec lectus quis sem ultrices egestas in ac lorem.

Powercomm’s Safety Management System is accredited to Safe-T-Cert.

We actively embrace health and safety and aim to be incident and accident-free on all of our projects. Safety forms an integral component of our management system and is measured right across our entire company internally and externally.

We pursue continual safety improvement measures. Safety training is the first step in our CPD program, which ensures our standards and procedures are continually improving. We benchmark our training standards through our quality and safety partners EES.

Our constant investment in accreditation means we are in the audit phase of: ISO 9001 for administration procedures, ISO 14001 for our Environmental Management System and OHAS/ISO45001 (All Pending) As part of this process we only act in a responsible manner, logging & reporting to clients all environmental impacts.

We operate a 100% certified recycling system for all waste materials and packaging on our projects and couple this with environmental training for personnel.

We understand that our work can impact upon our client’s product quality, profitability and reputation.

To ensure our Quality Management system is top class, we are in the process of obtaining certification to ISO9001:2008.

Having an ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System means we have an independently verified and consistent approach to our methodologies & protocols for completing projects.

  • Our Quality System takes account of Quality Assurance from project inception through to delivery and each step in between including procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

  • Our work on Electrical power services in complex Pharmaceutical, Data Centres, Medical Device & Food Environments requires that we implement our quality systems coupled to continuous Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) & FDA standards.

  • Our clients also benefit from how we protect our standards. Internal audit teams conduct regular reviews of all our methodologies & procedures.
